In Loving Memory of Garrett Warren Pensyl
The Lord called Garrett Warren Pensyl, 22, home on Sunday, October 23, 2016, at just 22 years old.
Garrett was a 2012 graduate of Hyndman High School. He worked here, at the Golden Rule Home Center, with his uncle, where he was Jerry’s right-hand man. Garrett will be missed greatly. He was a lifetime member of Bible Gospel Church and the Hyndman Rod and Gun Club.
His friends and family members will always remember his love for the outdoors. He was an avid bow hunter and fisherman. He loved four-wheeling and hanging out with his buddies, the brothers he never had.
Garrett loved life and will be dearly missed by all whose lives he touched. He had a heart of gold and a wonderful personality. If you were ever fortunate enough to have met Garrett, you would have never forgotten him and his beautiful smile.
Born February 7, 1994, in Cumberland, MD, Garrett was the son of Gary Jr. and Jena (Leydig) Pensyl.
Survived by his parents, Gary and Jena Pensyl, a sister - Mariah Pensyl all of Buffalo Mills, paternal great grandmother - Delores “Mang” Twigg of Hyndman, paternal grandparents, Gary Sr. and Brenda Pensyl of Buffalo Mills, maternal grandparents- Fay and Gloria Jean Leydig of Hyndman, aunts and uncles- Robert Pensyl and his wife Rachel, Larry Chalfont, Tabitha Yankee and her husband Matt, Marie Troutman, Steve Leydig and his wife Tammy, Jerry Leydig and his wife Connie, and many cousins.
Garrett, you will never be forgotten on this side of heaven. Our love for you will never fade. We will see you again.
